When did you get into the auction business?
I have been associated with the auction, appraisal, and real estate business my entire life, but began working full time for McGuire Auction in 1998. I currently serve as President and Secretary full time.
What is your area of expertise?
I am an auctioneer, ring person, realtor, licensed real estate broker, and non-certified appraiser. I have the experience and knowledge to appraise nearly any type of property real or personal that needs to be valued. I have attended various appraisal, auctioneering, and real estate schools. In the real estate and auction business I have been involved in many land sale transactions and performed numerous farmland, residential, and commercial appraisals for area banks, attorneys, and individuals. Within our company I have been involved in residential and commercial sales as well as farmland sales.

When did you get into the auction business?
I have been associated with the auction, appraisal, and real estate business since my return to the area in 1994. Since 1994, I have been a member of the McGuire Auction staff as a contract auctioneer and part– time salesperson.
What is your position now?
I serve as Vice-President and Treasurer of McGuire Auction and now work full time with the company as an auctioneer, realtor, ring person, liscensed real estate broker in Iowa, and non-certified appraiser.
What is your area of expertise?
I have the experience and knowledge to appraise nearly any type of property real or personal that needs to be valued. I have attended various appraisal, auctioneering, and real estate schools. In addition, before joining the auction company full time on March 5, 2018 I worked in agricultural banking in northwest Iowa for 25 years and I understand the risk and demands of the banking industry. In the real estate and auction business I have been involved in many land sale transactions and performed numerous farmland appraisals for area banks, attorneys, and individuals. Within our company I have been involved in residential and commercial sales as well as farmland sales.
